This is now
I once feared what i now embrace
Darling, you were that fear that once remained
In every corner, within my heart
In every dream, within my mind
I once loved you, although that changed
Love turned into fear, soon into hate
But i knew only i can mold my fate
With my whimpering heart, i came and forgave
I turned my hate, to love ..once again
I dream no more of goblins and pain
I cry no more when my body lays in bed
I loved you once, even though that changed,
and i knew only i could amend my ways
I paved a way, a place no man has been
Because this world follows one narrow way
I could not fit myself in that unloving place
Judge, they will, it is what they know
But my God knows what's in my soul

This poetry was definetely inspired by my past. Just being with the wrong person but being so blind by it. Trying to forgive them and realizing their true colors once and for all.
