the girl who could fly
she wishes she could fly
she can fly
she waits for the sky to darken
and for the town to fall asleep
and then she stretches out her magnificent wings
with blue and green and purple and pink and yellow feathers
and she flies
she flies until she reatches morning
until she touches the stars and until she can smile at the moon
and when she lands in her majical forest
right before the sun kisses the sky with its brilliant glow
she has to hide her wings
so no one will call her a monster
orsay she is inhuman
andshe runs back home
she runs back home just to wait for the night to return
so she can fly away once more
