Running in Darkness

I ran from the dark woods.
I ran from the shadows.
I ran from the thickening forest.
No matter how much I run
The darkness never stops.
No matter how much I yell
The forest blocks my cries.
I was tired but I din't stop.
I saw the light I ran with everything.
But I was once again swalled back into the darkness.
I can't hide or i'll be found.
I can't run cause i'll soon stop.
But that doesn't stop me from running again.
The darkness won't stop my tracks.
