Mirror Mirror
Mirror mirror on the wall
how you watch me fall
into the depths of despair
gasping for air
between sobs as I
cannot seem to find
beneath the deception of the mind
whats left of the fight
as there is so much of me to destroy
and nothing to enjoy
the concept of authenticity
still new to me
she is my identity
who am I without her
besides a pot to be stirred
and slightly disturbed
traumatized
yet still I rise
I lay awake
and wonder what it will take
to echo Mulan's war cry,
what it will take
for my reflection to show
who I am inside?
