You are beautiful!
Have you never been told?
In this world, I may seem bold.
Your hair! Your eyes!
You’re such a nice surprise!
I’m so used to the fake faces,
I’ve never met one with such social graces!
May I have this dance?
I believe they call it the prance,
Such a queer name,
But I want to play this game.
With you, I want to experience it all, none the same.
I’m not afraid to fall,
Even if it is my downfall.
You’re worth it,
You’re all of it.
So I ask, my fingers crossed behind my back.
May I have this dance?
