Rainy Days, Pain Stays
Rainy days feel like the world understands
Anything and everything that life always hands
In unfair ways to those who are unsuspecting,
Never to those who know life will hand them something.
Yet you know that the rain fades.
Don’t be afraid to face the pain
And don’t let your bullies see you cry again.
You’re strong.
Stand up for yourself and show them they were wrong.
Paint the world in all your creativity,
And let them all know the pain you see.
If they only knew,
Not once would they hurt you.
Some days are dreary,
Telling you that you’re clearly
Another sad beating heart,
Yet you decide, in life, your own part.
Sometimes on rainy days, the pain stays.
