Look How Happy
Look how happy I was
Look how happy you were
What happened
What happened to the non-stop laughing
And the random dancing
Was it the sickness
Was it moving hundred of miles away
Or was it the fact that I got trapped in a black hole that took years to escape
Look how happy I was
Look how happy you were
Where has the time gone
It feels as if the time slipped right through my fingertips
It feel as if the man and the little girl in the picture isn't us
I’m sorry
I am so very sorry that the time spent laughing and dancing was replaced by yelling and crying
I know it is my fault
Look how happy I was
Look how happy you were
Why can't we go back to that very moment
That very moment when my smile was brighter than the sun
That very moment when you were my best friend
I would give anything in the world to re-do my life again
I miss the old you and I miss the old me
The only thing we can do is take this all as a learning experience
Look how happy I was
Look how happy you were
We are finally okay
Not perfect
Just okay
We finally laugh and talk and smile
I am waiting for the day we can dance randomly
I am waiting for the day when I can say, “Hey dad look at how happy we are”
