I’m from disorderly curls that turned into intricate braids on top of head.
I’m from the willow tree that casted a magic vail over my yard.
I’m from the trees in granny’s front yard that, housed my childhood adventures.
I’m from the summers at uncle’s house.
I’m from long road tips of staring out the window and imagining myself in a music video.
I’m from the April rainstorms that rocked me to sleep.
