Broken Love
Cigarette soaked breaths whisper lonely words to each other as a trio of broken souls run through the shadows. My best friends included a girl who almost killed me, and a guy who also nearly did but in a completely different way. We were all a little crazed, different from other teens and in turn a perfect fit for each other. Although we hung out some days we had the most fun masked by night. We laughed together in the street through booze soaked lips. We were comfortable with each other laying naked in the street after streaking, avoiding the lights of cars. That night was the last night his lips touched mine in seven months. It's a long time to go by and still love someone. I love them both even though they both broke something of mine.
