Am I ready?
        I have been practicing non stop,
        Lap after lap,
But am I ready?
        As the time nears the pressure rises, 
        My adrenaline pumps and hearts racing,
Still am I ready?
        It's time now the race is about to begin,
        My heart slows and my focus strengthens,
The moment of truth, am I ready?
