Safe Place
Why does humanity think it has a right to comfort?
Mentally and physically
I understand I should respect the feelings of others
But humans can be offensive
Knowingly and unknowingly
What is a safe place?
Are you so insecure that a discussion feels like an offense?
Am I giving up my right for the sake of safety?
Oh wait. I don't have a choice
Don't hurt her feelings
Don't hurt his feelings
Don't use pronouns
Please be politically correct
You're a racist
You're a bigot
You're a homophobe
Is it another's responsibility to protect your emotions?
In the safe place your ideas lose value
No room for constructive criticism
No room for genuine disagreements in the safe place
"Those who give up Liberty for security deserve neither."
