Enough
What is
“enough?”
We speak of too little for ourselves
and too much for others,
yet we do not know a people that have their
“enough.”
Too little is familiar-
that hole, that gnawing nothingness-
And too much visits more often than we realize.
I’m waiting on a call from
“enough.”
I’m waiting to hear his voice,
for him to tell me this moment is ours.
