Wishes are Buckets
Wishes are buckets
Those buckets fill with jeers
The jeers create fears
And fears cause tears
The tears draw peers
Peers entertain veers
And when the goal nears
The only one that hears
Isn't the one that steers
So be careful with wishes
Don't have them ruin your life
Remain calm and think thoroughly
To avoid wishful strife.

With this poem, I wanted to tell a story and make a logical point from a 100% metaphorical standpoint. If you look at the word choice, it does actually make sense. I also intentionally wanted a bit of clunkiness to help further the... detachment... from normal mediums.
