They always said to be ready.
Then the time was coming,
On your mark, get set-
Why is everyone seems ready?
Im lost I can't even get down.
The gun went off-
Sprint and stride yells of cries of the crowd
Screams, wind hard taking my breath,
sucking the life out of me.
Round and round we go.
All the curves were the worst.
Then came the straight a ways.
Vision became transloucent.
Focus was the only sight-
Muscles in my leg grew strong.
No one behind me.
Finish line is only thing in front of me
Last straight a way,
My chest is tightening
the breath,slowly closing
3 steps until I'm there.
2 steps I'm out of breath
1 beat less-
Finish line.

Lately in life, I've been so busy. We all need a point in ourlives to focus on it. But with life comes success to us. We all race to get somewhere but did we ever check what it takes away. I hope people will see the true meaning. It all depends on what you take from it. After all, it is our own race.
