A heavy tread, a growling laugh
A burst of air as fury steps inside
A flick of a light, a slam of a door
Slurred voice rising to a raging roar
Thuds and moans
Shouts and screams
Ears covered as terror breaks free
A shaking paper
A blinding sheet
Carelessly opened to dripping Ds
A strap of leather
Red and brown
Worn from a thousand countless flogs
Smashing bottles
Sparks fall
An empty house with shaking walls
