Forever Red
A blade so shiny and clean
I look into the reflection and try to see hope but all I see is me
Their screams echo in the hallways
My scars stay quiet on my wrists
I hear the breaking of a vase
It sounds like my shattered heart
Blood drips to the carpet
It stains the shiny blade
They say cuts heal
They tell how scratches go away
They’ve never had a scar like this one
It won’t heal
It won’t go away
The pain is real, the hope is gone, the blood will forever drip
I look into the blades reflection
I no longer is myself
All i see is
Red
