The Death of a Child
The Death of a Child: (step-by-step)
First, I can feel my innocence dying
Then, I hear my love for laughter cry out as I slowly suffocate my own joy
Next, I naturally scream in agony as my thoughts dwell on the fact that I`m forever stuck in this dark prison filled with broken love and stolen smiles
Finally I realize that I`m the one who blew out every candle
I`m the one who took everything beautiful and smashed it all too pieces
I`m the one who ran from my place of happiness and stole everyone else`s joy on my way here
I`m the one who allowed my self to undergo this grotesque transformation
I have become the awful thing that we are all forced to become, I am an adult
