Working to the Grave: The Great Pyramids
Sunrise, forced to now rise,
for a young ten year old boy,
back breaking work isn't pleasant.
Something he’ll forever dread,
the boy was too easily broken.
Sunrise, forced to get up,
the young man mumbles as he rises.
He wants this to be done, he is broken,
Back breaking work isn’t pleasant.
But someone catches his eye .
Sunrise, forced to get up.
The man knows it is close to done,
he's not so much broken as he was.
A new reason to come home,
he comes home to the love he now has
Sunrise, not able to rise.
The man knows it is now complete.
he is broken again once more.
His eyes close evermore,
A lone tear sheds down this wife’s face.
