The Sun

After a long day of work,
I go off to see the sun in the sky.
Shining bright like a diamond,
It gives off an alluring glow,
Drawing all to the sky.
Far off in the sand dunes I sit down,
Staring up at the sky.
The sun has its face turned to the land,
Beaming with its wide eyes,
But in the dark it descends to hide.
