No buildings left to stand,

No children left to cry,
No men left to fight.

Anger, hatred, and frustration
Rome felt for Carthage.

No buildings left to stand,
No children left to cry,
No men left to fight.

Two years of siege,
No ground made,
Rome charged Carthage.

No buildings left to stand,
No children left to cry,
No men left to fight.

Once inside of the city
Roman swords slashed and gashed,
Roman torches burned and pillaged,
Roman soldiers killed and enslaved, until there was no one and nothing left.

No buildings left to stand,
No children left to cry,
No men left to fight.

This is the Carthaginian solution
