On rows of shelves in a library
With the musty smell
Books sit waiting to be opened
With cracked spines and faded pages
Losing yourself in a book
Letting go of all your worries
Leaving stress behind
Imagination taking control
Going wild

Ones that open up your inner sleuthing
Some that embrace your romantic side
Sleuthing within a mystery novel
Unleashing romance within a love story

Books are annoying
Eating away your time
So you can't put it down
When you stay up all night
Lights dimmed
Barely able to see the pages
Reading anyway
So you don't have to put the book down
But getting to experience
A whole new world
Is magical
Reading a book creates a whole new world

Some books unleash your dorkiness
Books where you can quote them
Word for word
But you spend a lot of time alone
Not spending time with people
Who love you

How many books are in the universe?
A reader can spend life going on adventures
Like diving in the ocean
Surrounded by the cool clear blue water
With colorful fish everywhere
Sky diving
When you feel the wind rush through the plane
As you look down at the world
You take a leap
The wind in your face
When it feels like you're flying
It can be as easy as just walking
Out your front door
Adventure waits for you
So take a leap and soar
