I Will Continue
The wind of my soul
Shall not die down.
The fire of my heart
Shall not be smothered.
The storm of my emotions
Shall not quit raining!
There are too many sails
That rely upon my breath
To get them across the seas
For me to surrender my heartbeat.
There are too many rivers
That rely upon my heart
To pump fresh waters in
And the stagnant out
For me to surrender my last breath
I am not done yet.
There are too many fires
That rely upon my tears
To quench the burning flames.
This be reason Man calls my name.
I am not dead yet.
And the sails still hang.
