So Much to People
Children's beliefs are that of their parent's,
Teen's beliefs are that of the media's,
I set myself apart from the standards that hold us.
I think it is wrong to turn away familes in need of help,
I think it is wrong to think of different people based off opinions,
I think it is wrong to think that one is better than another.
Why is one right while the other is wrong?
Why do people get treated differently than others?
Why is acceptence such a shameful thing?
Not all Muslims are terrorists,
Not all Christians are close-minded,
Not all Hindus are Indian,
Not all Buddists are are Chinese.
Sometimes,
People neglect common sense in favor of other's opinions,
I find this saddening,
But,
Not all are like this,
there are people in this world,
who look past the sterotypes,
who look past the opinions of others,
who in turn,
support the ones who have no one else to support them.

I though a lot about the different refugees coming in and being turned away, how lots of kids I know base their opinions of countries and people based off what they hear in the media.
