She Slit Her Wrists
She slit her wrists
Because she thought it hurt to remember
She slit her wrists
Because she thought she couldn't take it anymore
She slit her wrists
Because she thought she was lonely
She slit her wrists
Because she thought she was replaceable
She slit her wrists
Because she thought she wasn't good enough
She slit her wrists
Because she thought she was tired of it all
She slit her wrists
Because she thought things wouldn't get better
She slit her wrists
Because she thought it wouldn't matter
She slit her wrists
Because she thought no one would care
She didn't hear her parents weep
Or her best friend cry
She didn't achieve her dreams
Because
She slit her wrists
