Wedding Anniversary: I Love You Forever
From Nebraska’s grassy green plain,
To the looming icy mountains of Spain
I love you the most.
From our radiant memories encompassing cheer,
To our desolate ones harboring a tear,
I love you the most.
On this momentous, imperative day,
From the cavernous depth of my heart,
I have a vital message to convey,
Happy Anniversary!
I wish you consequential, exuberant years ahead,
And to cease, an intelligent woman once said,
“Family will lodge together incessantly.”
I hope you dream of a gorgeous meadow,
Coated with purple lilies,
And an exquisite, aesthetic rainbow
With joy simply flowing from its layers
Love You
Forever

This piece was inspired by my the wedding anniversary of my parents. To express my love for them and everything they do, I wrote a poem.
