Missing Christmas
I've only gotten one Christmas present
Seventeen years have passed and I haven't seen Santa
Never heard the jingling of a reindeer bell
A nice, old lady at the bread place
She gave me a Barbie doll
Clothed in green finesse and even a fur collar
Mother took it
My one Christmas gift
I long for pretty lights and giant trees
I want to hear the "Ho ho ho"
Menorahs on windowsills as I walk by
But it's December 9th
I don't think St. Nick is coming
