Ode to Internet Explorer
Oh, Internet Explorer,
Save me the horror
Of demoting myself to set you
As my dysfunctional default browser
When I have open two tabs
I wait like the wife of a coma patient
As you too, resist responding
You crash like a train
with two cars
and a plane
You sink like a boat
With a hole
In a moat
Your speed matches that of
a slippery snail
Wandering the world wide web,
Weeping.
Oh, internet explorer,
I must only express my distress
You home to be default
But that question’s an insult.
