Earth's Wishes

The sun's rays graze the earths leaves every morn.
The stars gaze down, envious of Earth's beauty.
The moon disappears in shame as spring flowers wave.
Earth looks up at them, smiling.
Not because it is glad of its brethren's conflictions,
but because they do not comprehend how lucky they are
to not be plagued by the blight that is Humanity,
Creatures that do not appreciate Earth's beauty.
how Earth wishes its brethren would understand.

Earth, the only place we have to live, is being destroyed by us. Imagine tearing down the walls and roof of your own home until there is nothing left. That is what we are doing to our planet. And soon, there will be nothing left.
