The Legend of the Autumnalis' Flowers
Falling, just falling,
a leaf started to descend,
tumbling upon the unseen.
Falling, just falling,
a snowflake started to slope,
a hint of ice for a clime of snow.
Falling, just falling
the air started to drop,
but heat had suddenly surged.
Falling, just falling,
burnt embers of a fire,
ashes around a winter night.
Falling, just falling,
branches scorched with flame,
brown now black, pride now shame.
Falling, just falling,
laughter of the feast,
reduced to wails of agony.
Falling, just falling,
a tree with white flowers,
burned in just about an hour.
Falling, just falling,
families panicked apart,
shattered, fragile pieces of heart.
Falling, just falling,
a young girl of red hair,
and life took back her flare.
Falling, just falling,
the autumnalis’ white flower,
now tinged with a hint of blood.
