A life without pain is unimaginable
Yet so desirable to anyone who has had their heart broken
A life without pain doesn’t seem like enough anymore
Because the pain doesn’t ever go away I’ve learned to live with it
Everyone wants a life without pain
But I’m not so sure I’d want a life without it
Pain makes me feel alive; it reminds me of all I’ve been through
Life might be easier without pain
Without pain I don’t know what to do I don’t know how to react
When someone loves me back I don’t know how to react
When something good happens I only remember it for a second and then it’s gone
With pain I can dwell and stay in the moment and feel exactly how I felt
With happiness I can’t fake it I can’t go back to a moment in time to feel that way again
So when nothing happens or after the good feelings are gone I go to my sad moments
They make me feel; at least when I am upset I can feel something
When I’m happy I get a buzz when I’m sad I get the full effects and sometimes a hangover
Life without pain would be boring 
So even if a life without pain was possible I wouldn’t want to let go of my pain
