Can't Be Edited
A thousand times a day
Telling me I'm doing things the wrong way
I'm always wrong and I'm so quiet
Still, she finds some fault with me
Always a fault in me, and I was
Never a star
Only my sister
(Except there are never any faults in her)
But she's always trying to change me
And I'm me- can't be edited
Mom, why can't you ever just be proud of me
Or just be happy at how happy I am
Talking to Broskie in the freezing cold
On the computer
Throwing my art pieces in the wrong garbage
Mom, I'll never be a star
And yes, I'll always have faults
But why can't you be happy with me
The way I am
I'm me- can't be edited
