My life in reverse
Three
He sits
A plastic smile on his almost unhandsome face
Color clad
Never sad
Swinging his legs under an oak desk
Zoning in
Zoning out
In English one second
And into an unknown wilderness the next
But everyone knows
Except himself
That he's happy
Without question
Two
Awkward smile
Dressed in black
Big sweaters
Red shoes
Is this the life they'd choose?
They sit in the back
Students loud and rebellious
They just sit and stare
Knowing they're too strange for the rest
But that's alright
They're strange to themselves too
One
She loves
She sings
She's happy about everything
She knows nothing but emotions
And doesn't care
Who knows it
Because she doesn't know
Judgement
Or hate
Or evil
Her friends laugh and smile with her
Because her family doesn't
She hasn't noticed
But that's ok
She's happily ignorant anyways.

I made this because it's something I never get to talk about and because I feel like people like me will be able to connect with this and understand in ways some others can't.
