Broken Eyes
The tears were falling, fast and furious
She couldn't stop them
They broke past the glass wall of her pupils
With no consideration for her retinas
Leaving shards behind
Blinding her perception, as the greatest sense was
The roaring in her ears
Waves like the oceans crashing over boulders
Of her soaked cheekbones
Her sight became her hearing
Ears do not cry oceans
