Unknown
Staring at the unknown is where she
Lost her control
What she saw before her was merely a labyrinth
Nothing more
Her life a path of twists and turns
Frustrations and persuasions
Scars and burns
Nothing to keep her back from hurting herself
Everything is rationed
She thought she had a hold on life
Going with the flow, up and down eventually ending in a
Place she does not know
Normality is not an option
Memories linger like the scent of a unicorn
Never forgotten
Unpleasant, unrelenting, unabsorbed
A living nightmare playing over in your mind
It's on repeat
Her smile is lethal
She never uses it now
Once upon a time she smiled at everyone she hated
And now she's all alone
Confused, scared, hopeless with no home
She looks toward the great blue sky and utters not a sound
She can't take this, she can't break this, is there nothing
More to life than this?
Obviously not
With tears of blood, she cried and cried and cried
And God's promise, the rainbow, entered the sky
But she had already committed suicide
