I Saw A Rainbow
I saw a shining rainbow
Bright as light and light as sky
Out of the rubble, the debris
The rainbow shot up like a
Shooting star and
Light surrounded you and me
We've just been through
Seas as stormy as a hurricane
Darkest nights and
Thunder and lightning
Rain pouring down in torrents
Emerged from the rocks
We stared at the fallen walls
A cry for help calls... and calls
We fall to the ground in hopeless despair
We look everywhere and you aren't there
No one is
Holding hands we cry to the sky
We cry for help
And then I saw
I saw a shining, shining rainbow
Bright as light and light as sky
Out of the rubble
The debris
The rainbow shot up like a shooting star and
Light surrounded you and me
I saw a rainbow
And it promised me freedom
