Not Anymore
I used to be such a broken girl
I used to be a cutter of my flesh
I used to be a hater of myself
I used to be such a broken girl
But not anymore
My scars are healing, inside and out
My self-esteem isn't the highest, but now
I can stand to look in the mirror
I still cry when I'm sad, but I'm happy
More days than when I'm sad
I'm proud of me
I didn't die
I didn't let everything around me break me
I learned to live, I learned to love
I'm even learning how to fly now
I used to be broken, but now I am strong
Is this the butterfly you saw all along?
I used to be such a broken girl
But not anymore
Now I am beautiful
