The Predator
There is a monster sitting across from me
He sits there staring,
Watching my every move,
He wants me to show weakness,
We are in a game of chess watching each other's moves,
However, chess is a game of knowledge,
Not physical strength,
Why have I not beat him at this foolish game
Why have I not crushed him like an insect?
He thinks I am a weak little twig he can just snap,
He thinks I am small
HE THINKS IM NOTHING!
What he has not realized,
I have knocked him off his high horse,
I have crushed him with my knowledge
I have made my next move.
He is now asking, no pleading for mercy
The predator is now kneeling before its prey,
He looks at me with kindness now,
Asking for my forgiveness
Hoping to earn it.
He has yet to realize,
He is the ground I walk on,
He is the trash I dispose of,
HE IS NOTHING!
His apologies are nothing.
He now sees I am as strong as he is,
Even stronger,
He does not understand anything he is done.
He cannot see the scars he left,
The pain he caused
He has changed me
He exposed himself
He revealed the monster that lies beneath his skin,
He revealed that predators are everywhere,
Even in your safe spot.

I wrote this out of anger and agony. This poem comes from the deepest darkest whole in my heart. The person i portrey as a monster was my predator he had made me suffer. He knew i wasnt strong enough to fight him, well this peice is me fighting for each and every person who is belittled and targetted by others.
