The Sadness I Feel
The sadness I
Feel cannot be
Burned out with
Cigarette smoke
And vodka
Shots.
The sadness I
Feel cannot be
Washed away
With heavenly
Warm showers and
Kind words spoken
By the one I
Love dearly.
The sadness I
Feel cannot be
Locked away
In the corners of
My mind for it
Has become far
Too big to ignore.
The sadness I
Feel cannot be
Broken for the
Noose it has
Wrapped around
My neck is made
Of pure iron.
The sadness I
Feel will be my
Cause of death.
Not because of
The bullet that
Will force its
Way through my
Temple or the
Pills that will kill
My heartbeat.
And my sadness
Will never die even
After I am declared
Dead.
