Growing Anger
It starts out like a baby seed
And as life goes on and on and on
I let it grow
I feed it with
Frustration and the displeasure I feel
I let that baby seed grow
It grew and grew and grew and grew
Into a big, big serpent
And I wondered
Where did it come from?
Whenever
My sister or my brother or my cat
Frustrates me
It rises up from the
Very innermost part of me
Like a lion
The growl starts deep within me
And it gets louder and bigger
Until there's huffing and puffing
And tears
That beast pops out of my mouth
It swarms me
It suffocates
I cannot breathe
I struggle back and forth to GET IT OFF
I struggle until I
EXPLODE
