A pointless journey

I sit alone by an empty street
with an ache in my heart and pain in my feet
I sought adventure but now I find
its quite lonely when your only friend's your mind
i want to go home but I don't know the way
and night's about to end another empty day
where will I go, what will I eat
for now I'll just sit by this empty street.
