Hey there
Hey there
Who am I?
How did I get here?
I don't know
I know I'm trying to tell you something
But what is it?
You're waiting for an answer
But I just don't know
There's something you want to hear
And you're waiting for it
"Go for it!"
"Come on!"
My silence is killing you
But why is it?
Now I'm off on a limb
And you're at the end
It's gonna break
You don't know how to bend
But I've been bent for years
I'm indecisive, very unsure
But yet you seem confident in all your nervousness
How do you do that? How do you handle it?
There's a storm in you as there's a storm in me
I can see it raging in your eyes
Yes, raging
It's the same storm that's in me
But I'm silent
And I can't speak
And all that rages in me is this confusion
Constant, numb, bleak
It's just confusing
Ah, I remember now
I'm trying to tell you something
You're still waiting for me to answer
You need to know something
And I'm the only person who can tell you something
There's a storm in me
I can't decide
torture
Hey there
I'm back on earth
Who am I?
How did I get here?
I don't know
I'm trying to tell you something
But what is it?
You're waiting for answer
But you just don't know

I'm officially one day from turning 20, so I'm posting these last few poems here as a little mental picture of where I am now... farewell, teen years.....
