Et tu Brute
I want a moment I’ll remember
I want a summer I’ll be able to forget
My misery turning to embers
My whole existence being reset
And I’m tired of being the skeleton
In all my lovers closets
A symphony of anonymous love notes
Once for the father
Twice for the son
And three times for my holy ghost
And oh great Caesar
You came you saw
And you decimated
You left me a mere fragment of myself
You are the snake in my bed
You are that off beat
Torn up remix of a song stuck in my head
You held out your arms to me but they were lined with thorns
But you told me to just pay attention to the roses
And it would all be okay
