Fall Apart
Some of us read to escape the reality for a while.
Others write to let go of all the words that have been locked up for so long.
Others listen to music to mute all the demons’ screams
That have been haunting us every night.
Some draw to sketch their own little world on paper.
Everyone has their own way to escape.
Each of us have found a veiled cave
Where we can spill all of our emotions into
And scream until there’s nothing left inside.
We escape a world that is adverse.
A world you have no control in.
In this world, I am nothing.
I am just a color, a weight, a height, a number.
But in my own world, I am amazing.
I am different.
People are better.
Possibilities are endless.
Change is achievable.
Life is manageable.
It’s okay to escape.
It’s okay to close your eyes and sink into your own world.
