Beautiful, Fragile Souls
Every day we lose them
To an uncontrollable force
That lies inside
We watch
Helplessly
As they slowly self-destruct
Sometimes we know
We can see the pain
But sometimes we are blind
It hurts the same
Either way they are gone
Causualties to a never ending war
So many battles are fought
Some are won
But the war rages on
We cannot fight for them
Unconditional love
Is our only way to save them
But sometimes all the love in the world
Is not enough
And we lose a beautiful, fragile soul
