Quicksand
I'm stuck, surrounded
Hands up, i give up
Because you caught me
But I surrender peacefully
Because you'll always have a piece of me
And it's become increasingly
Harder to avoid you
Painful to ignore you
Cause deep down
Even though out loud I say I don't
I still love you.
Its easier to just melt in your voice than to fight it.
It's quicker to show you all my love than to hide it.
So I give up
You won
I'm done
I'm yours
This time I'm sure.
There's not a person in the world that I want more.

This piece is titled Quicksand as a metaphor because I was metaphorically stuck in love with a past relationship and finally gave up trying to resist that person.
