Do You Hear Me?
Do you hear me?
I’m slowly tiptoeing across the room to you.
To bring you down and make it hard for you to get back up.
I’m merciless.
You’ve shut me out too long.
I’ve come back really strong.
I tell you he’s never coming back.
You’re all alone.
You did this.
You should have been watching the road,
should have left your phone in the seat.
But you didn’t.
Now he’s gone.
Do you hear me?
I’m slowly tiptoeing across the room to you.
To make you cry a river, a sea.
I’m the saw, you’re the wood.
I’m cutting you into pieces.
He was the glue.
He’s gone, though.
Do you hear me?
You should have been watching the road,
should have left your phone in the seat.
Do you hear me?
