Superstition is a rather odd concept; we base the circumstances we are given
off of pure chance- the way your tires rotated after you put the car in reverse;
the sound your dog made after the mailman came to the door.
Some blame it on a full moon. Some blame it on when the day of the week and
day of the month align exactly to “Friday the 13th.”
I, however, take a rather different approach.
It turns out, that Wednesday is the most nefarious day of the week.
This is a fact I have come to accept. It has nothing to do with my attitude towards the day,
and making it “over the hump,” nor is it an opinion. It is just the truth.
Wednesday’s are God’s way of saying, “Have a nice day, schmuck.”
If there was a day that bad things happened as a result of the devil (an anti-Sunday if you will),
it would be Wednesday.
Now, we could sit here all day and say “oh, well I like Wednesdays because that’s the day my local
grocer has a sale on lemons…” but that’s not the point.
Next time something bad happens- worldly, or local, in any form, look at a calendar-
it’s probably a Wednesday.

It's not that I hate wednesdays, I just hate the connotation that comes with it....
