Wall Street Journal Love Poem
White tulips and lilacs,
clusters of flower blooms;
salmon pink,
orange and cherry red
obscured by the misty landscape
dotted with dapples of heavy rain.
I happen to love this time of year.
The gray-green tones create a horizontal rhythm
depicted by the soft hues of clustered flowers
rushing through the land.
The foggy, gray days streaked the land,
somehow comforting me,
as promotions of rain blurred
the essence of the east coast.
He was my inspiration.
Kind, focused and refreshing.
He loved the flowers.
He was tangible one moment,
gone the next.
His mind had a blurry nature
like a rainy season;
lone and fogged.
Somehow he left,
the flowers gone.
Still, the rains remain.
