My OCD is like a battlefield
where shots between thoughts happen everyday,
like PTSD, my disorder makes me think I’m crazy
when the sticky muck of, my inner mind
makes my brain scream things I dont even want to remember.

I wish I could get away
from this enemy that has captured me,
it is always waiting around the corner
to ambush me,
and not let go.

Like a sniper
my OCD hides in the dark
¨Did I wash my hands? Did I wash my  hands?¨
runs through my head like ammunition
feeding a machine gun,
but
I will not
let it defeat me.
