Behind the Glass

You stood forgotten in a frame
the time already covering your existence
as transparent as air
but still very much present
and with one’s final breath
suspended in space
you solidify into reality
after your evanescing
when my stare fell on your unremembered self
a face gazes back and
I drop into a world of reminiscing
each time accompanied with a different feeling
I wonder what you will greet me with next
my dear picture
will it be the sweet flavor of happiness
or the often acrid taste of melancholy?
